Frank Sepe Unveils Marshmallow Crunchy Protein Bar at Olympia 2023 – Muscle & Fitness

A small group of M&F staff tried it last night, and the consensus was that it tasted exactly like a Rice Krispie treat. It’s soft, chewy, satisfying, and contains 15 grams of protein, only 3 grams of net carbs, and only 2 grams of sugar.

Correction: Not technically a tape. Sepe says I don’t like the word bar. It’s more of a treat, but it’s like a protein snack. It looks like a rice krispie treat, but it’s clearly lower in calories, high in protein, very low in sugar, gluten-free, and tastes great.

Sepe worked with his team on this product for over a year, looking for the right taste, texture and macronutrient profile. Needless to say, he is very happy with the end result.

“Before I decided to make a product, I was on the market looking for something to eat that was a dessert and filling, but didn’t have crazy amounts of sugar and calories,” she says. And I found nothing. Every strip I tried tasted like chemicals and was extremely unpleasant. They float with sugar alcohols, basically just garbage. So I decided to find the right formula. My marshmallow feed does not harden. It doesn’t look like a hockey puck. It holds its consistency and is absolutely delicious.
