Kate Beckinsale shows off her abs in a white sports bra while doing yoga

Kate Beckinsale showed off her impressive flexibility as she gave fans an insight into her fitness regime on Tuesday.

The actress, 50, took to Instagram to share a glimpse of her private yoga class at her home on Halloween morning.

Kate showed off her toned physique in a white sports bra and black leggings as she was coached in some tricky poses.

The screen siren began by stretching her arms while resting her feet near her head in the plow position, which helped stretch her spine and hamstrings for the next move.

With the help of her private teacher, Kate did a backbend before settling into a happy baby pose.

Fans took to the comments section to praise Kate for her flexibility and strength.

One joked: ‘Fold it like Beckinsale’ and another added: ‘It looks complicated. It feels like some kind of math problem that my body can never solve.’

“Impressive length and flexibility,” said another follower.

Kate shared her secrets for maintaining her figure in an interview last year.

The actress works out six days a week and has a personal trainer, Brad Siskind.

Kate told Women’s Health: ‘I wake up, eat something and go straight to the gym. Then, if I’m going to do cardio, I’ll do it later.’

Brad added: “Because of her extensive skill set that she developed during her career in action film, she brings the same focus to academia.

‘She busts her ass for a whole hour. No phone. Without breaks. We work and I love that about her.

Kate got into the Halloween spirit at the weekend by attending former TOWIE star Vas J Morgan’s holiday.

The actress revived Barbarella, the buxom space traveler made famous by Jane Fonda in the iconic 1968 film of the same name, directed by Roger Vadim.

Dressed in the character’s famous sheer black jumpsuit and carrying her own ray gun, Kate, 50, made sure she turned heads as she attended Vas J. Morgan and Michael Braun’s star-studded Halloween party in Los Angeles.

In keeping with Barbarella’s big-screen crash landing on a distant planet, the actress embellished her outfit with large rips and fake blood stains before her appearance at the event.

She completed the look with a pair of metallic silver platform boots that evoked images of David Bowie’s Ziggy Stardust, while heavy makeup and a tousled blonde wig completed the look.
